Why learn about bullying?
• 70 % of middle and high school students have experienced bullying
at some point
• 20-40 % report having bullied or been part of bullying during the

If you SEE bullying…
• Talk to an adult.• Tell the bully to stop and walk away with the
victim.• Do not continue the bullying cycle by talking
about it with others or on social networks – that gives more power and prestige to the bully.
• Be VOCAL! Write a blog, and tweet about bullying.

• Tell an adult• Avoid areas where it happens• Disengage – any way that you can:– Walk away– Try to laugh it off then walk away– Walk with a friend

• Think about what you post!– Do not post anything private about yourself or
others– Do not share anything that could hurt or embarrass
• Think about who see what you post!– Complete strangers?– Parents?– Employers?
• Talk to an adult and report cyberbullying!
