CHANGES:
Aircraft shall vacate the runway after landing without delayif not otherwise instructed.Taxi clearance to apron or parking area will normally be issuedby TWR when landing run is completed. If taxi clearance toapron or parking area has not been received at this time, acftshall vacate the runway via the nearest taxiway intersectionand shall hold and wait on the taxiway when entirely beyondthe taxi holding position.
Low Visibility Procedures become effective in two stages inthe following conditions:Stage 1:When TDZ RVR falls below 1200m and/or ceiling lowers to lessthan 300'. The following message will be passed to arrivingacft by RTF or broadcast by ATIS, as appropriate:"Low Visibility Procedures stage 1 in operation".CAT II/III apchs are possible on request. The procedures forLVP stage 2 including protection of sensitive area are applied.Stage 2:When TDZ RVR falls below 600m and/or ceiling lowers to lessthan 200'. DE-ICING PROCEDURE
is available for all information under callsign "VIENNA Ice" on 131.62.In order to avoid excessive delay for acft de-icing, an aerodrome de-icing coordinator
Operators/Pilots of acft requiring de-icing shall put this request either directly to the de-icing coordinator or the ramp-agent who is in charge of the aircraft. If the necessity for de-icing is obvious because of prevailing weather conditions all acft willbe put in the de-icing sequence. All pilots shall contact "VIENNA Ice" as early as possible to confirm or to cancel the necessity for de-icing.
When aircraft is completely ready (doors closed, ready for start-up/push-back) pilot mustcontact de-icing coordinator before requesting start-up/push-back from ATC.The de-icing coordinator will issue a "De-icing number". Pilots are supposed tocontact ATC for start-up/push-back only upon order of the de-icing coordinator.At first contact with ATC the "De-icing number" has to be reported.
The necessity of de-icing shall be stated upon delivery of the routing clearance.
Pilots are requested to stay on 131.62 during entire ground time.
If instructed by marshaller car to stop on de-icing standby area, do not cut engines -
(stands 6X, 6Y and 6Z) via taxiway I (acft nose to the north).Thereafter marshaller guidance to de-icing positions (stands 7L, 7N, 7P and 7S) is provided.
Normally ATC (GND/TWR) will clear acft requiring de-icing to de-icing standby area
