An artist strongly involved in the quest for peace and official representative of the Korean Red Cross. Through music, she proclaims her message of peace.

Jenny Bae has been working consistently with various international organizations, and in consideration of the appointment of the new United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon, takes heed of how this opportunity can help build bridges of goodwill between North and South Korea, and in the rest of the world. Jenny Bae was invited by the city of Berlin to play as a solo artist at the World Cup finals in July 2006 and has played as a soloist in some of the most important world concert halls alongside artists such as Pavarotti, Jose’ Carreras, Eric Clapton, Andrea Bocelli, Paul Young, U2, Brian May from Queen, and with Zucchero at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

For the opening of the 7th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates 2006, Jenny Bae will play the piece “More Than A Miracle”, composed by the late Piero Piccioni, and will be wearing a traditional Korean dress which the fashion designer Lee Young-Hee has especially commis-sioned for her.
