Selected Recent Projects:Project management and UI design for the
Dally Dino series of educational apps (mobile and desktop). Wrote design documents,
made wireframes, created marketing, managed animation and audio assets, and
oversaw art team. Challenges included designing a flexible template for the series
that could be easily tailored to the specific educational content of each title while efficiently using shared assets.
Project and content management for the educational app GeoSeeker USA (mobile and desktop). Created design
documents, oversaw art and marketing, and managed project execution. Challenges included adapting an existing game
template (hidden object) to accommodate new educational goals (geography and social studies learning).
Marketing campaigns for the release of Nintendo 3DS™ titles including 101 Penguin Pets and Castle Clout 3D. Included
direction of video trailers, copywriting, and email campaigns.
Icon design and interface art for the Talking Face app (mobile). Challenges included visually positioning the app in both the entertainment and social categories, while maintaining a descriptive, legible design.
UI design, character and game art, and marketing for Chicken Dynamo, a “tilt and fly” game for iOS and Android. Created all wireframes, game art, and marketing materials. Managed marketing campaign, including a feature on the German tech show PIXEL.

Work on this title required making a print-quality cover illustration from pieces of game art.
Creating package art for Selectsoft’s licensed CD-ROM titles meant ensuring that all artwork conformed to style guides, handling design approvals, creating layouts for screenshots and marketing copy, and performing print prepress. I worked on art from a variety of publishers, including Disney, Hasbro, Big Fish Games, Sony, Knowledge Adventure, Hoyle, Broderbund, Ubisoft, Game House, PlayFirst, Britannica, iWin and many others. Here are two examples where I created the package art as well as handled the layout:
This package art was created from stock illustrations and original artwork.

Lil’ Lars the Zombie Bird just wants to stretch
his undead wings. Unfortunately, he’s
surrounded by vampire sharks that want to chomp him to bits!
Don’t forget to collect shiny skull coins at
the same time—after all, Lars may be
dead, but he’s still a bird…oooh, shiny….
Game design must balance fun with playability. The characters should be both appealing and legible, while the interface has to be engaging and intuitive. For these selected Selectsoft game projects, I also created the wireframes and marketing materials in addition to making the game art and UI.
