programs – what, where, why, achievement data, philosophy, programs, etc. (drama, DECA, sports))

• Proactive marketing/education for families of all Jeffco schools• Moral responsibility to ensure the highest quality opportunities in

every community• Need easier access to info (schools, programs, capacity, etc.)• Equitability & transparency• Notification & timeliness• Variability in processes solved• Timely information to families new to the system or area• Empowerment for parents’ preferences• The ability to choice apply/enroll online• Continuity at level changes• Need clear, viable demand data• Mechanism to capture community voice• Seats available model

• Clearly defining the role/values erc. in choice & enrollment• Clarity from parents on school’s expectations & programs• Feedback loop/input from current families• Honor autonomy (we think Jeffco does this)• A clear & effective communication about the programs, cultures, etc.• Address questions and any misinformation & misperceptions• Welcomed into the conversation on front end – District programs/processes (e.g. Dashboard)• Support/coordination for charter specific needs (bond, work comp, etc.)
