Student Learning Activities: Read Quarter and Eighth Note rhythms, discuss how rice is planted, grown, prepared socially Materials: “Cha yang wu” (rice planting song), “The Rolling Rice Cake” folktale, rhythm sticks Accommodations/Modifications Students will be given choices for movement assessment

2nd/3rd Grade I can… Show loud/soft dynamics with body movement, and play appropriate dynamic levels when instructed.
