    JEE Main 2016 Exam Analysis

    3-April-2016, JEE (Main) 2016 was conducted for students who opted for offline mode.

    Around 12 Lakh students would be appear for this exam in offline and online modes. JEE

    (Main) 2016 was conducted in two parts (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Paper 1 was conducted from9:30 am to 12:30 pm and Paper 2 for B. Arch. Aspirants was conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.

    Paper 1 was for those students, applying for engineering seats in engineering colleges, while

     paper 2 was for those students, applying for B. Arch degrees.

    The engineering institutes which conduct admission on basis of JEE Main 2016 Rank includes

     NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other premier colleges.Candidates, who appeared for the exam, said that the overall exam was tough. The questions

    were of moderate difficulty level for Physics section and Maths section was the toughest among

    all three sections. Questions from Chemistry section were the easiest and conceptual.

      JEE Main 2016 Chemistry – This year, Chemistry is Easy and conceptual.

      JEE Main 2016 Mathematics – If we talk about Mathematics paper in 2016, it is

    relatively moderate.

    OVERALL MARKS WISE DISTRIBUTION

    The paper pattern of this year was same as was last year in 2015. The paper had 90 questions each of 4

    marks. All questions were objective type with single correct option. Subject wise each subject had 30

    questions of 120 marks.
