SSD Definition‣ A solid state drive (SSD) is a non-volatile
storage device. A controller is included in the device with one or more solid state memory components. The device should use traditional hard disk drive (HDD) interfaces (protocol and physical) and form factors.
‣ Note that interfaces and form factors are not limited to HDD only (“should”)
