1st Grade October 15, 2018

Reading- We will continue to work on making text-to-text connections. We will also work on asking and answering questions about books that we read. Word Work-Please practice reading and spelling the following words. We will practice the following words all 1st quarter: away, down, got, have, one, they, too, was, went, will. -We will also work on digraphs: sh, ch, th, wh

Writing- We will work on using our plan page to help us write a personal narrative.

Math- We will work on the addition strategy of making 10 to help us add. We will also work on adding 3 numbers.

Science- We will work on explaining what light is and investigate how light travels through different materials.
