Experiences Since 2005 PHOTOJOURNALIST (freelance)

Long term projects • African Middle Classes (2008-2012): the biggest investigation on this 200

millions people population worldwide. 5 countries covered, over 50 persons followed. After teaming with 5 researchers, the project lead to the creation of full department dedicated to this issue. Over 20 portfolio publications worldwide.

• Small is Powerful (2013-2015): an advocacy project mixing photo and video with impact analysis to show how small african companies are fostering the continent’s development. 5 countries, 20 films, 30 impacts identified; diffusion through a webdocumentary, 9 publications in Europe, a touring exhibit in 7 universities.

• Quotidien des Capitales (2012-2014): Embedded in a local african newspaper to discover hidden african issues, and understand the african media industry. 2 countries (Gabon & Madagascar), the project grew to become a collective one with photojournalists covering 4 countries. Edition of a book, and dedicated website

2010-2014 COLLATERAL CREATIONS (co-Founder & CEO) a production agency of documentary and artistic content merging expertise and visual creativity. We help create meaning and better understanding of nuances on complex issues. We work with international organisations, public institutions, NGOs… Some projects

• Afro Food for thoughts (2011-2013): an in depth study to understand African middle class dietary habits, as well as underlying portrayals and logic. 4 countries, 4 photoournalists, 8 researchers, 4 written journalists. Lead to 200 pages research reports, diverses photo essays, an exhibit a serie of books

• Aday: working on the african continent to insure its participation in the creation of this one day worldwide photo archive for training and scientific use in the future

• Photo and video evaluation of the civil society support programme of the EU in Tunisia

Since 2011 STUDIOFLY (co-Founder) One of the french top five photo and video making company using aerial drones. 5 drones from Octo to quadcopter or Zepelin producing 4K videos with best cameras. Latest projects & technology

• Loire Valley Casttles as never before (2014-2015): Photos essay on 14 casttles, looking for view points only possible using drone to refresh the iconography of this monuments. Shooting in winter, spring, summer for a 120 pages special edition for Geo magazine France in June 2015.

• Studiofly Technology: exploring use of new technologies on drone such as 3D modeling using drone photos, thermography, very high resolutions images

Was an expert in Credit risk intelectually very exciting had no passion for it and resigned when my boss proposed me to follow him after a spin off.
