    JAY WRIGHT 4 OUT 1 IN MOTION RULES..

    Post Rules

    1. Post players are high / low opposite of each other.

    2. Always screen in the slot

    3. When the ball is in the slot with the forward, the other forward will duck in.

    4. If ball goes into the post, other post player will rip to opposite elbow /

    opposite block.

    Perimeter Rules

    1. After any pass, can basket cut, screen, or receive a screen. Never pass and

    stand

    2. Perimeter players only screen for other perimeter players.

    3. Only use a dribble to drive or to make an easier pass.

    Perimeter Players

    1. Three Perimeters can fill any of the three perimeter positions

    2. Dribble through fill each of the four perimeter spots

    Post Players

    1. Can fill either post position or either slot position

    2. Must always be diagonal from each other

    3. One post player is in the slot and one is in the perimeter.

    Basic Motion Rules

    1. Post players should always be high and low in the offense

    2. Screen the guard to the maintain the opposite spot

    3. Our post players always screen the man in the slot

    4. Ball is in the slot, ball screen

    5. Ball is passed to the baseline position big man set the flare screen

    6. When the ball is in the slot with the post the big man will look to duck in

    7. When the ball is passed to the post the opposite big man will rip or dive to

    the opposite post

    Perimeter Rules

    1. After any pass guards can basket cut

    2. After any pass can receive a flare screen

    3. After pass guard can down screen

    4. NEVER PASS AND STAND

    5. Our perimeter players always screen for each other

    6. Use dribble to drive or make an easy pass

    Our rules are as follows:

    - Ball in the slot with a good handler: The other slot ballscreens, then rolls

    into a screen for the opposite wing, who will be behind the ball looking for a

    shot. The post makes himself available to the driving guard.

    -Pass from slot to slot: Downscreen for the wing.

    -Pass from slot to wing: Weakside slot flare screens for the passer. Cutter sets

    up the cut and reads the defense. If cutter doesn't get the ball there is an

    automatic rescreen, with original screener now setting a high cross screen.

    -Players can also pass and cut at any time.

    -Hard drives are also encouraged - if the ball is dribbled at you make a read

    to either backcut or get behind the ball, depending on how the defense helps.
