HOW WE GET THERE. A LOCAL STORY.

FAME - slideshow & lecture about hip-hop scene in my beloved hometown Opole (provincial town in south Poland). From the example of 3 local rappers - I’m constructing a global model of 3 possibilities of culture distribution.

The main thought behind whole story? "if you look carefully enough at the place where you are, you can �nd everything"

- what was the starting point of this exhibition?- I got an email from IDA gallery

- what have you prepared?- I took a bottle of gasoline and my laptop from PL and hitchhiked to Prague to realize my idea.

- what is the exhibition about?- Here & Now is about strong relationship between what is digital and material; the internet and journey. google makes us know that their servers use renewable energy. what is happening on 9gag has an impact on politics. we forget that sth digital is as well real. post-internet and laptop falling from our desk: we have to deal with it.

- all roads lead to Rome?- all roads lead to Reality.

- what would you take for this journey?- a bottle of water.

jaś rejected saying more about this show. he said “that’s an inside story”. sometimes he’s still a xx-century artist. excuse him...

we decided to push our limits and

whole journey was planned as a conceptual ephemerical art piece: spend some time in a plane, wait, write text. but at the end it wasn’t. it’s hard to describe level of our irritation during and after way back. it should be a combination of:

I was hitch-hiking at a highway exit out of my hometown witha sign "going back". I managed to get back after 6h.

Revolving door. Family running around in it. Mom, Dad and me are moving away from each other, because in this way, we're inseparable.

My Dad runs a lot. We were on many street runs. During most of them organisators put start and finnish line in the same place.

We were looking for perfect trzepak.

We found one. But he was inside closed

backyard, so we used trzepaczka as a key.

We build a fort/tent. It was good place.
