BACKGROUND

Japan is a country like no other in the world. Kaizen-Lean principles permeate every aspect of daily life in Japan.

People who travel to Japan are fascinated and surprised by the fact that even places like gas stations or shopping centers utilize Kaizen-Lean

principles in creative ways. Japanese Industry is recognized all over the world as being the world leader in continuous improvement (kaizen).

Japan has earned a reputation around the world as a “Lean Specialist” building its economic power in manufacturing over the past decades.

As you all know, Lean_principles are derived from the_Japanese manufacturing_industry, and it is a luxury to experience _�rst-hand deployment

and innovative improvement techniques, which will help your organization to achieve the objective of waste elimination, zero defects and zero

accidents, through the dayly involvement of people in operations and continuous improvement.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Through this tour and with every visit, and seminar, we bring you a full immersion experience in Kaizen cultureI.

It is a tour designed to open your eyes, broaden your vision, and deepen your understanding of Lean principles, systems and tools, ultimately

transforming attitudes about what is possible through continuous improvement.

This programme includes lectures from leading experts in Kaizen with decads of experience, they Will share with us their wonderful experiences

and come with us to visit world leading organizations in manufacturing and process industry.

A group of people from other companies with probably, the same concerns that you have.

One of the key factors we want to show you is the role of the managers in continuous improvement initiatives, which, in our humble opinión is

what makes the success of kaizen possible, both in Japan and in the rest of the world.

AGENDA

This year, the Japan Study Mission will start on Monday 26th of February, so the arrival to Nagoya must be on Sunday, 25th of February.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR1. We Will be one extra day in Japan in order to have more time.

2. To avoid hotel changes, this year we have decided to remain in Nagoya for the whole tour. We will change hotels only once, for the Kyoto touristic visit.

3. After the wonderful experience of last year with the Dojo Training, we will repeat it and we will deep in a “Hands On Training”, 100% practique.It will be taught by TEC(Toyota Engineering Corporation), former workers of Toyota and founders of TPS Certi�cation Institute

4. Initial Seminar:

a. Basics to know in Japan.

b. Lean-kaizen- Continuous Improvement and High performance Organizations (HPO)

· What are they?· What are we going to see and learn?· How can we do it in our companies?

5. Final presentation in groups and subsequent action plan

6. One additional day (in your own organizations) with two consultants (expenses not included) for:

a. Action plan review after Japan Study Mission.

b. Knowledge of your company, Lean strategy and HPO.

Afternoon · Visit to Mifune, Toyota´s supplier, its CEO was a employee of Toyota.

Participation fee does not include airfare, travel insurance or hotel personal expenses. Participants are required to be in the hotel lobby by 9 am, Sunday 25th

February 2018.

Tour content may vary.

Schedule subject to change without notice. Photo and video imagery from tours may be used for marketing purposes by ADUM, Soluciones de Productividad S. L.

Registration of a completed Form indicates the participant’s intention to take part in the tour.

Once this intention has been noticed to ADUM, the participant’s booking must be secured by a payment of 25% of the fee to ADUM within 14 days.

100% payment has to be made by January 15th 2018.

The transfer of registration by participants within the same company is permitted.

If cancellation is done by ADUM full refund of fee will be done.
