Hotel Feature Tip:If you will be walking to the hotel from the JR/Keisei station with large luggage,

don't worry, there are escalators and elevators to help you get there. Once you walk out of Keisei-Ueno

station, use the crosswalk under the JR Ueno tracks on your left (stay on the side of the JR Ueno entrance,

you will see a Pronto Coffee and an entrance to Ameyayokocho across the street). Continue walking in

front of JR Ueno station, toward the pedestrian overpasses, and you will see an elevator. Take the elevator

up to the overpass, and walk on the section of the overpass with the display cases and sculptures, you will

walk under the highway. At the end of the overpass, you can take the escalator down to the street level.

Then you will turn right, and take the first left turn (just after Hotel Touganeya), and follow the brick-

lined road toward the large Sankyo sign. You'll soon find a Lawson store, Hotel New Tohoku is on the

north-side of that block.
