As the Elder Team has been praying about the fu- ture of Grace Fellowship, they began wondering , what are the people of Grace Fellowship dreaming about? On Dream Night we will come together to share our hearts and dreams for the church. It will be a faith filled night to listen to one another and hear what dreams God is entrusting to our collec- tive family. We will together see what gains trac- tion and confirmation and blessing! It will be a fun, thought provoking, prayer worthy and faith build- ing night! What a great way to launch a new year at Grace Fellowship! On Sunday I shared out of 2 Peter 1:4 that God has given to us very great and precious promises so that through them we may participate in the divine na- ture. God loves to participate with whatever he has created. For example, he invited Adam to partici- pate by naming the animals. Genesis 2:19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living crea- ture, that was its name. In Luke 1 God sent the messenger angel Gabriel to tell Mary that she would be with child through the Holy Spirit. God could have told Mary himself, but he chose to use Gabriel an angel of God’s creation to bring the news. I’ve always marveled at Jude verse 3, that we are to contend for the faith that was once for all en- trusted to God’s holy people. Wow, God has en- trusted the sharing of the Gospel to us. Revela- tion 22:17, The Spirit and the Bride say, Come. The Spirit is God’s Holy Spirit partnering with the Bride, that’s us the Church to call people to coming into relationship with God. Think about it, God partners with his creation to accomplish his purpose. So, this coming year open your hearts to the way God is longing to partner with you. Praying that this will be an amazingly fruitful year in our lives.
