Segundo domingo de Tiempo Ordinario El siervo sufriente Las lecturas y su mensaje Primera Lectura - Isaías 62:1-5 En el Segundo poema del Canto del Siervo, Isaías habla de un siervo misterioso que un día unirá a todo el pueb- lo de Dios y restaurará a Israel. Será una luz para las naciones y llevará la salvación de Dios a toda la humanidad. Segunda Lectura - 1 Corinos 12:4-11 Pablo se reconoce como llamado a ser apóstol. Indica que todos los que han sido llamados por Cristo están desnados a la sandad. Pablo les recuerda a los corin- os que son parte de una realidad más grande que ellos mismos. No están separados del pueblo de Dios. Los corinos gastaban mucha energía en ocuparse de sus propios problemas. Pablo los llama a mirar a la realidad total. Lectura del Santo Evangelio según Juan 2:1-11 La imagen del cordero ene su raíz en la cena de la Pas- cua, pero también ene la connotación del carnero de Isaac, sacrificado en su lugar, y en los cantos del Siervo Sufriente, en la alusión al cordero sobre el que recaerán los pecados de muchos. Nuestra Cultura L a idea de sacrificarse, que en empos modernos puede llegar a parecer extraña, es muy familiar en nuestra cultura. Las madres, sobre todo, se sacrifi- can por el bien de sus familias. Los padres trabajan también por el bienestar de sus hijos. Es una convicción profunda de que ese sacrificio redundará en bien para otros y merece la pena. Para la reflexión ¿Por quién se siente amado sin condiciones? ¿A quién ama y por quién se sacrificaría sin límite ni medida? ¿Espera algo a cambio?
