Find an interesting perspective being aware of those around you.

Use a viewfinder to plot your composition. Take a photo of your chosen composition Do several quick thumbnails of your

compositions breaking up all the shapes within the form(like your warhol painting)

Keep pencil marks to a minimum Paint the whole painting quickly like a

gesture, plotting all color and form lightly, then gradually building.
