Jaen county is an Andalusian inland rural province, where civilizations have left their imprint throughout History. Jaen is the world’s largest producer of olive oil offering its visitors a landscape of more than 60 million olive trees which produce one of the best EVOOs (extra virgin olive oil) in the world. Jaen province awaits you on your next trip to Andalusia.
You’ll also find World Heritage sites such as Ubeda and Baeza Renaissance cities or Sierra de Segura and Despeñaperros cave paintings. Jaen also embraces the greatest castle concentration over Europe. Moreover, Jaen is the county with the largest area of protected natural areas in the whole Spain.
