CSA Fee, Lead Referral & CRM Certifications
The Microsoft Dynamics Lead Referral program does more than help you earn
revenue - it helps you ensure your role as a trusted advisor to your customers. If
your expertise does not extend to selling Microsoft Dynamics solutions, you
can pass leads for those opportunities to Microsoft. Microsoft distributes those
leads to Microsoft Dynamics partners with the appropriate expertise based on
their profiles.
And if the opportunity results in a transaction, you earn a referral fee of 5 percent of
the amount Microsoft invoices - and show your customers that you are looking after
their best interests. Applicable for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics
ERP, and Microsoft Dynamics POS and Microsoft Dynamics RMS transactions.

Important FAQ: The Microsoft Dynamics Referral program requires the Lead opportunities to be unknown
to Microsoft at the time of receipt. Does this mean that you will only accept opportunities for new
customer organizations, or will new opportunities at known customers qualify? The Microsoft Dynamics
Referral program will accept new transactional opportunities for both new and existing Microsoft customers.

CRM Competency - CertificationsBeginning October 2010, the CRM competency requirements differ depending on which track you select: Value Added Reseller (VAR) or Independent Software Vendor (ISV). Please see below for requirements details for each track.
The following requirements apply to all partners, regardless of track:
Three customer references
Submit at least three customer references, each featuring the implementation, deployment, customization, or maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Each reference must feature a project that you have completed within the last 12 months, and will be verified with your customer.
Technical Certification Requirements
You must employ or contract with at least three individuals who combined must pass one exam from each of the following lists:

Exam MB2-422: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Customization
