We are excited to share with the Redwing community our athletic website -- www.hobokenredwings.org. On it, you will find schedules, directions, rosters, pictures and other great information regarding your favorite Red-wing sports. You can get alerts to schedule changes and score updates! On the website, there is a link to our Facebook page and remember to follow us on Twitter @hobokenredwings.
Additionally, there is a new app for this website for your mobile device -- just type in “VNN” to Google Play or the Appstore and download it for FREE. You will have everything you need regarding the Redwings at the touch of your fingers!!!
Winter sports are up and running. This week bowling has its opening match, swimming has its opening meet, and girls and boys basketball have scrimmages.
Girls bowling is still undefeated! Meanwhile, the boys, in a rebuilding year, continue to improve with every match. Girls basketball is having a solid season with impressive wins over N.B. and Dickinson. Boys basketball had an epic overtime win at Dickinson as well as a holiday tournament win over Wee-hawken. Girls swim had its first win over the season over Union City as it came down to the last relay, but the Lady Redwings pre-vailed. In that same meet, the boys had 13 personal best times. Finally, the indoor track team participated in the Hudson County Re-lays and showed glimpses of great potential. Keep up the great work, Redwings.
