Going Crazy

Odysseus is arguably the smartest man in all of Greece and would be the greatest help to Agamemnon’s cause.

Although he is also the least willing to go and begins to fake insanity two days before the arrival of the messenger.

The messenger being desperate and clever throws Odysseus’s son in front of his plow.

Odysseus suddenly becomes sane, saves his son, and joins the cause.

During the War

Odysseus was arguably the reason for the Grecian victory in the Trojan War.

He convinced many of the kings of Greece to come join the fight for Helen in addition to finding Achilles.

During the War (cont.)

Odysseus was the only member of the Grecian army to be admitted into the Trojan city for a meeting with the leaders of the Trojans.

Odysseus was the person who led first charge into the city when Achilles died.

He came up with the Trojan Horse idea.

On the ride home

Odysseus got lost on the way home. He spent twenty years away from home

but most of it was spent on various islands with other people.

Upon his arrival Penelope was being wooed by many suitors, but Odysseus killed them all.
