PROPOSED HOUSING FOR
• Air Force Naval Housing Board (AFNHB) was formed on 16 Nov 1979.
• The objective of the Board is to promote housing schemes all over India for Air Force and Naval Personnel and their widows on no profit no loss basis.
• All the schemes launched by the board are self financed schemes.
• The Board was registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 in May 1980.
• The Board’s primary function is to facilitate providing the affordable housing to serving as well as pensioners from the two services. Widows of the personnel of the Air Force and Navy who die in harness /action are accorded top priority in allotment of dwelling units.

• From the humble beginning in Nov 1979, AFNHB schemes are now spread all over the country with a clientele of 18602 allottees.
• AFNHB has completed handing over of almost 16822 dwelling units.
