many of which are now glorious hotels and museums. In addition, stunning handicrafts and fine arts

were developed and nurtured through patronage by the maharajas. Village life remains steeped in

tradition but, just like the rest of India, the pace of change is accelerating. Turbaned men still barter

for decorated camels – they just relay the successful deal home via a smart phone.

Jaisalmer Arrival + Evening Puppet Show.Day 1

Today upon arrival in Jaisalmer – we will transfer to the hotel. Afternoon will be at Leisure.

Jaisalmer - No place better evokes exotic camel-train trade routes and desert mystery. Ninety-nine

bastions encircle the fort’s still - inhabited twisting lanes. Inside are shops swaddled in bright

embroideries, a royal palace and numerous businesses looking for your tourist rupee. Despite the

commercialism, it’s hard not to be enchanted by this desert citadel. Beneath the ramparts, particularly

to the north, the narrow streets of the old city conceal magnificent havelis, all carved from the same

golden-honey sandstone as the fort – hence Jaisalmer’s designation as the Golden City.A city that has

come back almost from the dead in the past half-century, Jaisalmer may be remote, but it’s certainly

not forgotten – indeed it’s one of Rajasthan’s biggest tourist destinations. Evening we will enjoy a

puppet show at a local theatre. Return to the hotel . Overnight at Hotel .

Jaisalmer City Tour.Day 2

After breakfast, start exploring Jaisalmer. Proceed to visit Jaisalmer Fort known as sonar quila- rising

from the sand, the mega structure that merges with the golden hues of the desert ambience and the

setting suns in its most colorful shades gives it a wonderful look. It’s simply a magic, the bastions

envelops a whole townships that consist of palace complex, PatwonJi Ki Haveli This is one of the

largest and most elaborate Haveli in Jaisalmer and stands in a narrow lane. It is five storey high and is

extensively carved. There are remnants of paintings on some of the inside walls as well as some mirror

work. The most elaborate and magnificent of all the Jaisalmerhavelis, it has exquisitely carved pillars

and exquisitely carved pillars and extensive corridors and chambers. Evening we will visit the Gadisar

Lake and the markets of Jaisalmer to pick up some souvenirs for folks back home.

Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer – Tanot Mata Excursion – Sand Dunes VisitDay 3

Today morning after an early breakfast, we travel to Tanot Mata temple , Legend goes that in 1965,

during the war, Pakistani army captured Kishangarh and Sadewala and attacked Tanot from three sides.

Tanot was a strategic point to move towards Jaisalmer. They fired at least three thousands bomb shells,

at least 450 shells were fired on the temple. All of 450 shells neither hit their targets nor exploded.

In the middle of that war zone, the temple stood tall without any

damage. Assuming that Mata Tanot is with them, Indian soldiers fought bravely and forced the

enemies to flee from their territory. Towards evening we wil visit the Sam Sand Dunes to experience

the Camel rides and Jeep Safaris ( own Cost ) . Evening return to Jaisalmer. Overnight at Hotel.

Jaisalmer Departure.Day 4

Today morning after breakfast, we will transfer to the Airport / Station in time for onward connection.

policies, the rates may be subject to change for booking during this period, the surcharges for

the same will have to be borne by the clients.

- Incase of Non availability of rooms, efforts will be made to provide similar category hotels, also

incase there is any price difference for the same arising due to different category of hotel,

higher category of rooms been booked etc , that will have to be borne by the client.

- Bookings are subject to confirmations only once the full payment is deposited at least 7 days prior to

departure.

- Cost is subject to change without prior notice, the travel management company shall not be held

responsible for the same in any manner whatsoever

- Cancelled bookings will be liable for full retention, if cancelled within 7 Days before departure,

incase of cancellation before 7 Days, there will be 50 % of Package cost charged as retention.

- The company will not assume any liability for cancellations arising due to Natural or Man Made

disasters on or before the tour, any extra expenses arising out of such situations will have to be

borne by the clients.
