JAI JAGAT Tour 2019
Jai Jagat (jay jug-ut)1. A spirit and way of living that positively embraces the entire world.2. Literal definition: Glory to the planet.
USA | UK | South Africa | Australia
The Jai Jagat Show and Journey is an experiment to touch the lives
and spirit of 17 underprivileged children - from the NGO Manav
Sadhna (based in the Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram) through the
mediums of dance, music, performance and most importantly, love.
Through this journey we hope to spread seeds of goodness and
compassion in the lives of our kids and throughout the world. We
hope to tour our show with our kids in the Spring of 2019 (the 150-
year anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi).
ABOUT
1. TRANSFORMATION - To provide an experience of deep transformation for the children’s spirit. Our humble mission is to impart love, discipline and strength to our children through our day to day interactions (prayer, meditation, discussion and thought, emotion, work and discipline, gratitude, conflict resolution, teamwork, health, nutrition, creativity and much more). The ripples go far beyond the children, to their families and into the communities. Many of our children from our previous tours have been inspired to become Karykartas, have gone on to University, and are truly showing fruits from the seeds of their in-depth involvement with Manav Sadhna.
2. INSPIRATION - To help develop global human capital. Since Manav Sadhna successfully completed their first EKTA show tour in 2002 and then EKATVA in 2012, over 3000 volunteers from all over the world have been inspired to come back to India to serve theunderprivileged. The tour is a way to create sparks of compassion in the hearts of human beings which may lead them on a path to give back to the world.
WHY JAI JAGAT?
“When we spend committed time with children, coming from a space of deep love and using creativity as the
medium, the results are unpredictable, immeasurable and extremely powerful.”
“The law of love can best be understood and learned through little children”.-M.K Gandhi
The Jai Jagat show comprises of 17 young children selected from
thousands of kids, from 6 different slum areas of Gujarat, India.
They represent the light that exists amidst the challenges in the
poverish communities across the world.
We hope through this journey and tour, that audiences are readily
able to see the beauty and strength in all the children in our planet:
The more we water and nurture their seeds of potential, the more
beauty is bound to bloom in their lives.

Malala, Wangari Mathai, Masahisa Goi, Yusra
Mardini and others.
THE SHOW
The Jai Jagat Journey, is a values-based journey to plant seeds of
compassion, creativity and commitment into the hearts of 17
children. Whether it is through prayer, circles of sharings, acts
of kindness and gratitude, cleaning and taking care of the
environment and other forms of values-based development, we
hope that through this in-depth process our kids grow to
become good human beings and examples for other kids in their
communities.

PREVIOUS TOURSIn 2002 and 2012, Manav Sadhna created similar spirited shows, “Ekta” (Unity) and “Ekatva” (Oneness), with 14 and
16 of their children respectively. The shows toured across America and the UK, inspiring tens of thousands of people
across the globe to become agents of service to their communities. Many of the children from these previous shows and
tours are now coordinators and teachers giving back to their local communities or pursuing higher academic goals.
Bharti and Dipmala, for example, from the 2012 Ekatva Tour are the first girls in their slum communities to
successfully study Science in University. Chandani is working on her nursing and Bhavnik is finishing his engineering
this year. There are many beautiful fruits that have bloomed from the seeds of these previous journeys.
