With 65 years of tradition, we combine our experience with current developments in the modern pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

We provide responsible quality management that covers the entire value- creation process of our products. This starts with the auditing of our suppliers, as well as the purchasing of certified raw materials, and ends with dispatch authorisation for shipping by a competent person. The ongoing quality process is supported by the inspection of incoming goods, the approval of all raw materials and packaging, in-process controls on individual production stages, extensive batch documentation and modern analysis systems in our own laboratory.

Special feature: All products are obtained through the gentle production process of pressing or extraction. In order to re-move harmful minor components, the oils are then refined and preserved in a complex process.

TIP: For use in aromatherapy massages and wellness mas-sages, we recommend scent-ing our BaurAktiv® basic and caring oils with a few drops of BaurAktiv® essential oils as required.

Jojoba oil has a highly moisturising effect and provides long-term protec-tion for every skin type against loss of water; it is absorbed rapidly without leaving behind a greasy film. The oil has an excellent penetrative effect, strengthens connective tissue, prevents the formation of wrinkles and can be used universally. It is highly prized for mature and dry skin. It contains a natural sun protection factor of 4 and is considered to be stable against oxidation.

Evening-primrose oilis considered to be the specialist when it comes to alleviating itching, irritations and dry skin. Thanks to its high proportion of y-linolenic acid, it stimulates the metabolism, promotes circulation and is particularly recommended for flaky, very dry, cracked, rough and irritated skin and for treating neurodermatitis.

BaurAktiv®

basic and conditioning oilsare pure, natural products and contain important nutrients and vital substances for the skin. The oils are outstanding as carrier oils for therapeutic purposes such as massages. With their easy manageability and skin-caring components, they combine two important properties for private and professional use. All BaurAktiv® basic oils are well tolerated by the skin and contain valuable, skin-caring, natural vitamin E.

Wheatgerm oilis characterised by its high proportion of linoleic acid, oleic acid and the natural antioxidant vitamin E. It is particularly suitable for use on mature and dry skin with poor circulation. Due to its properties and the high content of tocopherols, phospholipids and phytosrerols, it is often used in the production of skin oils, face packs and hair-care products.

Grapeseed oil is considered to be an oil with excellent functions in protecting cell membranes thanks to its content of unsaturated fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid, and its content of the antioxidants vitamin E and procyanin. It penetrates the skin without leaving a greasy residue and, thanks to its regenerative and moisturis-ing properties, as well as curative and anti-inflammatory effects, provides high-power care for bad and dry skin.

Almond oilis a very-well tolerated, moisturising basic oil for every skin type. It is often used in care products and massage oils, and reduces irritation in sensitive, dry and flaky skin. It penetrates very deep into the corneal layer and lubricates it.

Sunflower oil suitable for application on normal and greasy skin Due to its high content of linoleic acid and low content of saturated fatty acids, sunflower oil is a light, absorbent and mildly caring oil. It is easily absorbed by the skin and has anti-inflammatory, skin-protecting properties.

Sesame oilhas a long tradition as a massage oil and is also applied during detox therapies. The high lecithin content, linoleic acid and a balanced fatty-acid composition makes it a valuable body oil. It is well suited to application on dry and stressed skin.

The intense and clear mint fragrance frees the respiratory tract and provides a fresh tingle on the skin. The intense and long-lasting fragrance makes taking a sauna a special type of "ice cold" and refreshing experience.You should test the dosage required for your cabin size by using a small amount, as too high a dose may irritate the eyes and respiratory tract. Just a few crystals are often enough for a pleasant sauna.

It is a unique natural product and, with its proteins, enzymes, amino acids and vitamins, provides a very different experience for the skin. Honey combines a very gentle exfoliating effect with rich skin care. The pure, certified organic honey is very easy to use, thanks to its easy-flowing consistency. It is free from added colours and preservatives.

Other types, such as acacia, lime, rosemary and thyme honeys, are available on request.

Liniments have a long tradition and were formerly used for muscular complaints. The products are used externally to stimulate the circulation in the skin. BaurAktiv® liniments acti-vate tired muscles, reinvigorate stressed skin and are ideal after physical and sporting activities for regenerating the skin and body. All liniments are manufactured using isopropanol.

BaurAktiv® mountain pine liniment The classic liniment. With a mixture of mountain-pine oil, pine oil, camphor and menthol, it provides a cooling and activating effect on the skin.

Obtained from the depths of the Dead Sea, this original mud is characterised by a high mineral content., The unique com-bination of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron gently revitalises and generates the skin. This exfoliating salt originates from the Dead Sea and is suitable for numerous applications. As a pure exfoliating salt, it smooths and cares for the skin, removes dead skin cells, stimulates regeneration and promotes skin circulation. For this reason, this cream is suitable for frequent use for light care without any greasy residue; its doesn't contain any parabens or mineral oil.

This high-quality skin and body cream is recommended for use on the entire body. It produces a soft and smooth skin, and is particularly recommended for stressed and irritated skin. Furthermore, it is suitable for long-term use. You can decide for yourself how you would like to pamper your skin through the addition of caring oils or other components. For example, by mixing in BaurAktiv® basic oils, it can be used as a provider of vitamin E, or can help care for dry and flaky skin. This body cream does your skin a favour. This formulation has been developed with great care for everyday use. The high-quality cream foundation, mixed with shea nut butter, makes the skin soft and supple. The unsaponifiable ingredients of shea oil moisturise the skin and provide it with intensive care.
