TOUR CHAMULA 20 KMIn this trip we will get to know the mystical little town of San Juan CHAMULA. This place is home to the Maya Tzotzil, who still hold on to their very own traditions and ways. It makes San Juan Chamula one of the most fascinating places in Mexico. The road towards our destination takes XC single trails connected by short bits on asphalt. We will have plenty of time to enjoy the surrounding nature and viewpoints. When we arrive in San Juan Chamula, we will visit the holy temple of San Juan Bautista to witness the extraordinary mixture of religion between Catholicism and local Maya religion. Don’t go away before you see a chicken. After the church we will pay a visit to the colourful local market. We get back to San Cristobal by bike riding some cultivated paths that will give you a glimpse of the very lively cultural life in this area. VIDEO

CHAMULA-ZINACANTAN 32KMIn this tour you will get to know San Juan Chamula in a very special way. Experience the practices and traditions of the people who belong to the Tzotzil tribe. Their traditional wear, religion and language will make this an unforgettable bike tour that makes you see one of the most fascinating parts of Mexi-co. Expect mostly single track in this trip to enjoy the vegetation and spectacular views. Short bits of asphalt road connect the singletrack trails.Upon arrival we will visit the well known sacred temple (San Juan Bautista) where we witness an in-teresting mixture of Catholicism and local Maya religion; we visit a typical Mayan market known for its intense color. After that we leave taking cultivated paths that show you the essence of cultural life in Chamula. We enjoy panoramic views between the mountains before stopping to eat a cheese tortilla in the unique village of ZINACANTAN where you get to know the Church of San Lorenzo, whereafter we continue our journey home. RUTA DE LOS MOLINOS 24 KMRecommended by the National Geographic travel magazine. Our most booked cultural yet adventu-rous tour starts with the exploration of famous windmills. We will visit a number of historical buildings and ancient windmills dating back to the 18th to 19th century that were dedicated to the production and cultivation of wheat. Next up is pure adventure! We will explore the inside of the KIN’VO cave and feel the mysterious darkness and wonder that it brings up. We visit the MAMUT CAVE, a subterranean system of impressive caves and caverns, the QUINTA DEL OBISPO and el ARCOTETE which are natural phenomena of wonder. All together this track is a true adventure and exploration of nature in Chiapas by bike. VIDEO

TOUR ARCOTETE 23 KMExperience and enjoy an exiting tour through forest while descending terraces with great views and beautiful nature around you. We will visit the MAMUT CAVES that offer interesting rock formations. After taking in this place we will continue with a visit to the ancient church of CARMEN DEL ARCO-TETE and the ARCOTETE (Ecologic Natural Park) where you experience such quietness yet adventu-rous things to see and do. This site offers a series of zip lines through the canapé of the forest that are lots of fun. We return to San Cristobal de las Casas with some exiting single track.

TOUR EL ENCUENTRO 10 KMWe offer an ideal tour for those who like to enjoy nature at its most intense: think of the peacefulness of a forest at the brink of a river and beautiful lookout points. Without covering a large distance or getting really tired, it is a tour you will enjoy if you are biking less frequently. Before the start of the bikeride we will walk a short distance to a lookout point in a beautiful Ecotourism Park to add to the experience an encounter with typical flowers and trees as well as the landscape of the park. This is our best tour to relax and enjoy yourself.

TOUR EL CHIFLON 56 KMA tour to the impressive waterfalls of ‘El Chiflón’. For those who truly want to discover Chiapas. You will learn everything about the local towns, cultures and vegetation. The long tour starts with a 12km climb from San Cristobal de las Casas to an amazing viewpoint above the Teopisca valley. A fast descent on asphalt brings you to a warmer cli-mate some 800m/ 1000m below. The short tour starts halfway to make it easier for non-endurance riders: right at the viewpoint terraces that take you further down to the crops and wheat fields in the lowlands. You will cross local villages that will show you how people in this area of Mexico live. The climax of this tour is of course the waterfalls of ‘El Chiflon’, an impressive spectacle in an unique and beautiful environ-ment. (DURATION: 8-9 hrs. LEVEL: MEDIUMALTITUDE CLIMB: 200 MTS )

CAÑON DEL SUMIDERO 83 KMDuring this impressive journey, you will discover breathtaking views, rivers, a great diversity of flora and fauna, small ancient villages and much much more. This is one of the most beautiful bike tours that we offer. This track is ideal for the adventurous cyclists who love the descend. Mostly descending to the cañon, this trip is still a long trip, especially designed for the more experienced endurance biker. The route ends at its best: the impressive and famous Canñon del Sumide-ro. After having enjoyed it in all its beauty we return by car up to San Cristobal de las Casas.

TOUR TOTOLAPA 58 KMMagnificent tour through the mountains surrounding San Cristobal de las Casas. The track is a mix a paved roads, dirt roads and single trails. You will discover nature with beautiful panoramic views and nice, technical single trail descents. The final stop and goal of this trip is the river Totolapa and its breathtaking waterfalls. This is a day-trip ideal for all nature lovers that seek adventure and tran-quility in equal measures. Our route begins trailing along a river, and con-sequently we begin hiking up a beautiful forest inside a natural reserve. We carry on for aproximately one and a half hours, until we reach three of the most fantastic caves and caverns in the region. These caves offer pristine natural formations such as stalactites and stalagmites. Afterwards, we begin our journey back through bromelian forests and wilderness trails filled with exotic flora and local fauna.
