1 CUP OF PLOTThe story is about a pirate who is no

longer a pirate. He was “kicked out” for not being good at plundering. Now he is living with a few other characters that you’ll learn about in the next slide. He

tries to find a job, but he didn’t like any of the jobs available. So he told stories about why he doesn’t like them. AND THEN COMES THE ENDING. ????

2 TABLESPOONS OF EXCITEMENT

One of the most exciting parts was, when Jack’s pirate mate was crabbing with Jack and a crab clipped onto his beard. It wouldn’t come off. Then, a guinea pig was being chased by a wild boar, and ran up to the pirates beard. It

wouldn’t come off . He kept shaking and shacking and it just wouldn’t come off. So he just shaved. (But he kept the guinea pig as a

pet.) That’s what I think was the most exciting part.

MIX THOROUGHLY AND BAKE. WHEN COOL, FROST WITH SPECIAL ICING:A. ½ Cup of Opinion: I enjoyed

the stories that Jack told. I liked them because, they

were exciting and HI GAVIN, sorry- funny. What I didn’t care for was that Jack kept denying the jobs that were

available.

FINALLY SPRINKLE YOUR OWN CONNECTION:

A connection is when Jack was telling a story about his friend and a troll. Jack’s friend helped the troll. He gave him ideas. Like to move to a bridge instead of land. It’s like what happened to

me once. My friend helped me with my batting stance.
