Oversee the implementation of Pre-K to 12 curriculum and assessment for Old Bridge Township

Public Schools, a 42-square mile suburban school district located at the southern end of

Middlesex County, in central New Jersey. The district has a student enrollment of just over

9,000 pupils, housed in twelve elementary schools grades K-5, two middle schools grades 6-8,

and one high school with a grade nine center. Old Bridge has a single campus high school with

a separate facility for 9th graders. The population, exceeding three thousand students makes it

the third largest in the state.

April, 2013 – June, 2015 – High School Principal

Westwood Regional Jr./Sr. High School, Township of Washington, New Jersey

Raised college admissions to highest rate in 10 years, raised AP course enrollment by 30%. Oversaw

100K renovation of Applied Technology facility. Implemented Physics First, Robotics, and STEM

Programming including 3D printers. Designed and implemented extended day support programs for

at-risk students, as well as SAT and AP prep. Raised percentage of students scoring above 1550 by

30%. Infused several hundred Chrome Books to begin transformation to a Google Apps for Education

School. Redesigned I & RS team and process to a data-driven RTI model utilizing guidance

counselors as case managers. Manage 500K building-based budget. School recognized as model “Mix

it Up” school in 2013-14 by the Southern Poverty Law Center for school climate programs.

program, responsible for all facets of new teacher orientation and mentoring. Facilitated

development and adoption of BOE policies in the areas of evaluation of certificated staff,

extracurricular advisors, and athletics coaches. Chaired BOE personnel sub-committee, served

as liaison to the board regarding staff renewals, hiring, grievances, and corrective actions.

Chaired successful NJQSAC and Civil Rights Data Collection audits, working with senior and

junior administrators to gather necessary documentation. Created Request for Qualification

(RFQ) for district’s “homespun” teacher and administrator evaluations, accepted by NJDOE as

an approved provider.

November, 2007 – December, 2010 – K-12 Supervisor World Languages/ESL Westwood Regional Schools, Township of Washington, New Jersey Oversaw design and implementation of new World Language programming with elementary

French, American Sign Language, and an academic based middle school World Language

program. Designed and implemented parental involvement institutes such as family literacy and

computer classes. Researched and implemented Rosetta Stone language learning software, as

well as online courses through Power Speak K-12. Perennially exceeded AMAOs for English

Language Learners with a high percentage of student exits within three years and secondary

success as measured by graduation rates and attendance in post-secondary institutions. Recruited

and hired bilingual staff for the CST, to provide evaluative and communicative resources for

Hispanic families.

Responsible for the enforcement and administration of school discipline policies. Collaborated

with various stakeholders to develop effective and appropriate behavior modification plans.
