CE Marking became mandatory for ALL hEN and ETA construction products on 1st July 2013 through the

“Construction Products Regulation (EU) 305/2011”

CE Marking

The new regulations were introduced to:

• Clarify when and for what CE marking is mandatory

• Simplify the process for CE marking

• Improve credibility

• Strengthen sustainability requirements

The new regulation repeals the Construction Products Directive (89/106/EEC and 93/68/EEC)
