Other trends

Of the 13,182 child sexual abuse webpages confirmed by the IWF, 3,203 (24%) were assessed as being commercial in nature

IWF URL list contained on average 897 URLs, updated twice ever day

IWF keyword list contained 440 words specifically related to CSAM (December)

3,209 reports received of alleged criminally obscene adult content, 7 were assessed as such and hosted in the UK, in which case we work with law enforcement

6 URLs were assessed as depicting non-photographic child sexual abuse content and were passed on the NCA CEOP Command

353 ‘disguised websites’ using a specific digital pathway (‘referrer’)

Between June and December, 392 reports were received relating to ‘hacked websites’, mainly affecting UK businesses

Start recruitment of 7 additional content analysts
