Thank you for choosing iUSB Flash Drive. Please read this instruction carefully

which will guide you how to use the flash drive more smoothly.

NOTES:

• You are not allowed to transfer music & movies downloaded from iTunes to

iUSB Flash Drive, as they are DRM protected under iOS. However, you can

download music and movies on PC, transfer to flash drive and play on Apple

device.

• Photos stored in "iCloud" won't be transferred to the iUSB flash drive, please

refer the FAQ to learn more about how to do.

• It is normal for the usable capacity to be lower than the nominal capacity.

9. iUSB Pro Settings

➢ “PLAYING” means that there are media playing. Click to jump

to the playing interface.

➢ “TRANSFER” will show the progress of transmission.

➢ “CONTACTS” is for you to backup & restore contacts from

different device.

➢ “CAMERA” is for selecting video resolution (Require iOS 9 or

above).

➢ “Clear Cache” will clear cache produced while transferring file.

➢ “Passcode” is for locking “iUSB Pro” app. You will be required

to enter the passcode to launch the app.

➢ “Touch ID” is for unlocking app by fingerprint.

➢ “USAGE” shows how much capacity left for iUSB and iPhone

➢ “Encrypt” is for encrypting folder in iUSB by password, please

refer to content “Encryption Settings”

Note:

• The folder encryption come into effect only after the iUSB Flash Drive is encrypted.

• Please format iUSB Flash Drive to rest the password If you forget it.

Note:

Once a folder is encrypted, it is invisible when plugged into PC or Mac, you can

view and decrypt it in iUSB Pro by entering the password.

➢ Should I take off the case before using the flash drive?

The lightning connector is designed 4mm lengthened and it will fit most cases.

We suggest you take off the extra thick phone case as Otter Box cases.

➢ Why can’t move/backup all my photos to iUSB?

If iUSB can access only some photos stored on your iPhone, you might have

enabled iCloud Photo Library.

To check that, please go to Settings >> Photo >> iCloud Photo (if the switch is

green, it is enabled). That means that some of your photos are stored in the

cloud and only their low-res versions are kept on iPhone.

By design, iUSB can transfer only those photos that are physically stored on

iPhone. If you want to access/backup the rest, please go to www.icloud.com, log

in to your account and download those photos to your PC/Mac. Then you can put

them on iUSB Flash Drive.

➢ Why can’t my device read the USB drive when it’s plugged in?

1) If you are using it on your iPhone/iPad, you must install the “iUSB Pro’ app

on your device before using the USB drive.

2) If you are using it on your computer(Windows/Mac), it does not need an app

installed. Please try changing another USB port or wait for several minutes.

➢ How to transfer music to iUSB?

As you might already know, Apple has a very strict DRM policy. As a result,

Music and Videos apps on iOS do not support exporting data to another apps or

external devices.

However, there is a way out. Launch iTunes on PC/Mac, plug in iUSB, choose

the music you want to transfer and drag and drop it to iUSB and play it directly

from the iUSB Pro app.

➢ What if my music is stored only on iPhone and not in iTunes?

Plug in iUSB to your PC/ Mac, download SynciOS to transfer music to iUSB then

enjoy it.

➢ Why can't I transfer more than 4GB files to iUSB?

Designed to be compatible with most devices, the iUSB default format is FAT32,

which does not allow transferring files larger than 4GB. If you need to transfer

more than 4GB files, please plug it into your PC or Mac and format it as exFAT.

Please note that formatting will erase everything from iUSB, so backup all

important files before proceeding.

➢ Can I use iUSB storage to install apps or save my game data?

No, it does not support that.
