The program will be held in the library garden, weather permitting, and there will be some WET

play-stations so please wear a bathing suit or bring a change of clothes. We will also have dry

stations if you do not wish for your child to get wet.

Play-stations will include activities that stimulate your young child’s senses:

touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing.

Be prepared to get a little messy and have a lot of fun.

delicious, succulent and easy chicken cutlets and nuggets

From start to finish, Chef Robert Dell’Amore shows how to

serve up a meal for ages, in half the time!

The safety and well being of young children left unattended in the library is of serious

concern. Parents, not library staff, are responsible for children using the library.

All children not yet in 4th grade MUST be accompanied by someone 14 years of age or

older who will be responsible for the behavior of the younger person(s).

If a child is attending a program at the library, a parent or caregiver must remain in the

building. If a child is 5 years or younger a parent or guardian must remain in the

Children’s room.

Program registration policy:

Merrick School District residents may register for programs on-line,

with a valid adult Merrick Library card.

Non-residents may register on-line one week prior to the program date.

Please have your library card available when calling for assistance.

Merrick residents are invited to display their children’s hobbies, collectibles, artwork

and more in our display case.

Collections may be kept on display for one month.

Please contact Angela Capone at 377-6112 ext. 117 to reserve a date.

ALL CHILDREN BIRTH –6th GRADE ARE ENTITLED TO THEIR OWN

LIBRARY CARD.

A PARENT MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN THE APPLICATION.

PROOF OF RESIDENCY IN THE MERRICK SCHOOL DISTRICT IS REQUIRED.
