an elegant solution from the point of view of aesthetics and economy.

It requires no plywood substrate, thus saving on costs, and can be flexibly

roll formed on-site.

Design Note

Oil canning, flatness or waviness is a condition that may occur:

(1) during the roll forming process

(2) under thermal expansion, or

(3) during the installation process.

It may be more noticeable with wide panned profiles or when

using softer materials like aluminium. This does not cause any

damage to the product, however the builder/architect needs to

be aware that this may affect aesthetic outcomes.
