Company profile

The Client Company is a transportation firm based in South London. We cannotreveal location and other details for reasons of security and confidentiality. The firm

was established over 30 years ago and have built up a solid reputation for serviceand reliability. It has a track record of success in working with corporate and privateclients. The Company has a clean, modern fleet of over 170 vehicles operatingaround the clock.

Business and Technical Solution Requirements

The Client Company Principals knew the IT Partnership for many years and called inITP for a meeting to decide and finalise the specification for their connectivity

requirements to their new branch office 6.6 Km away. These Included:

1- Internet Access Services

2- Connection to File Server at head office for data as well as specialist JobBooking Software

3- Transmission of Telephony via VOIP

4- CCTV camera data for security and surveillance.

5- Installation, training, configuration, on-going support and documentation.

Technical situation

The Branch was being set-up and they had acquired new Offices in South London. Itneeded to urgently setup business operations in a matter of months. All the IT andtelephony connectivity was required to be setup with strict adherence to an agreedcritical path to enable the branch office of the company to maintain continuity with itsgrowing client base.

Solution

ITP obtained prices from fibre-optic and copper leased line service providers, butbecause of high civil costs these were not commercially viable.

ITP then arranged to carry out site surveys with a view to creating a totallywireless connectivity solution.

The surveys revealed that an insurmountable hill was obstructing the Microwaveline of sight requirements

ITP were able to arrange a location for a relay station 3 odd Km away that hadline of site with both Endpoints.

We developed the Engineering and had a consultant check the schematics and

confirm selected Equipment. We then submitted the specification and pricing for consideration and approval.
