longer then an online point. You can use the default interval time for each of the survey type or set to your own
setting.
The Auto Randomize for the Brg Adjust will be auto randomize for the Face Left / Face Right and also for the
Vertical Angle. The randomization for Vertical Angel is just valid for flat area.
Note: If wrongly key in some data, can just key in the same station number to overwrite the old
data. Or query and delete the particular data in Part 6.
________________________________________________________________________________________________ 18
For data input, you can always use the Enter key to move to the next column or steps. For those
combo boxes, can just press Enter (hold) and press the direction button, up ↑ and down ↓ to

4.3.12.4 Example Party Wall Data Entry
Above is the condition of the party wall. Each of the walls must have its own station number which the start and end point of
the wall is sharing the same station number. Example, station 11, got 2 points is using station 11 for the 1st wall.
Actually 1 wall, it will generate points, although you just key in for 2 points of the center of the wall, the other 4 points at the
site of the wall will automatically generate for you by the computer.
11_2 & 11_5 is the points we key in. while 11_1, 11_3, 11_4 & 11_6 is generated by computer.
1. Go to FieldBook > Field Data, select for Party Wall.
2. Key in the At station (2), Back Station (1) and the Wall station (11), following by the width of the wall, then the
bearing and distance of your observation for one of the point of the wall. Save it. On the Point 1 & 2 is showing as the
following for the front point of the wall.

the other side of the wall, we need to key in also for the second point.
5. Key in the At station (6), Back Station (5) and the Wall station (13), (use back the wall station number) following by
the width of the wall, then the bearing and distance of your observation for second point of the wall. Save it. On the Point

Distance (H Dist) or the Vertical Angle (Vert Angle). Then click on Save button.
3. You can also use the Random VA button to randomize the vertical angle for the particular data.
4.5.3 Edit Station Number
If you just want to change for the Station ID but not the observation data (bearing & distance), then you may use
the Edit Station ID function.
1. Navigate to Record > Traverse / Online / Bearing Close…, search for the record that you want to be edited.
________________________________________________________________________________________________ 36
2. Click on the Edit Station ID button. Change the station (back station) number that you want and click on

5.2 M & C Correction
In this part, we will show you the steps how to apply the M & C correction after completing survey capture in
without do the calculation for the correction. You need to do Close Statement first before do C correction and do
Sun Observation first before do M correction.
5.2.1 C Correction
For C Correction, normally we will apply in immediately after save for the Close statement. But if you forgot or
need to reapply the C Correction, you may use the manual way.
1. Navigate to Correction menu > C Corr.

selected close statement. Then click Apply button. So, the C Correction is done.
3. You also can click on the Apply All button if only after you clear all the correct. The C correction will be
applied all by sequence.
5.2.2 M Correction
1. Navigate to Correction menu > M Corr.
4. Select the sun list that you did for Sun Observation. Apply the C Correction by just double the Solar List.
5. Change the At Stn and To Stn if you want to apply the M Correction from different start line. For example,
Solar Observation done in line 3-4 but you want to apply the M Correction from the beginning of the survey,
and then you need to change the At Stn and To Stn to 2 and 1.

5.2.3.3 Clear All Correction (back to RAW)
1. Please back up a job before clear all correction (back to RAW).
2. It is not recommended that you clear all correction back to RAW. After the Data back to raw, all your back bearing will
become raw data which is without any correction. It will be hard to check back if anything.
3. Navigate to Computation menu > Clear All Corr (back to RAW).
4. A Warning message saying that all observation to RAW data. Click Yes button if you confirm, else click No button.
5.3 Precomp Area for Area Comparison
For the area comparison, we can either import the SKL ASCII or PU ASCII for the approve area to compare with
our survey data.
5.3.1 Import PU ASCII Return
1. Navigate to File > Import > Read PU ASCII. Search for the PU ASCII return file from JUPEM and open it.
2. But you must make sure there is the correct file that you import.
3. Then, when you compute in the computation dialog, it will automatically compare with the surveyed area.
________________________________________________________________________________________________ 52
5.3.1.1 Check PU Lot Details
1. Navigate to Computation > Define > PU Lot Details.
2. Double click the PU lot number to check on the details including the approve area.
3. If found that is the wrong PU ASCII you imported, can just click on the Delete All button and re-import the correct
ASCII file.
5.3.2 Enter SKL/ PU (Precomp) Area for Area Comparison
If there is only few SKL lot area to fill in (if do not have PU ASCII Return from JUPEM), you can select for this
option, manually enter the Precomp area for each lot. For those big jobs which are more than 10 lots, it is
recommended to import the PU ASCII return from JUPEM / SKL ASCII.
1. Navigate to Computation > Define > SKL Details Entry.
2. Key in the Lot number, then key in the SKL Area and PU Area (SKL and PU Area should be same). Delete
the station route. Then, click on Save button.
3. Repeat the steps for the other lot.

5.4 Survey Computation
1. Go to Computation menu > Computation to do all you computation.
2. Follow the sequence (Traverse Direct Ln Mean Ln Coord. Lot Conn Line SKL Lot) and
select the radio button for the type of survey you want to compute. And click on Compute button.
3. Do not need to compute the SKL Area.
4. If got error when compute, must check and correct it before proceed to another steps.
5. Check on the result after compute. Last, just reset the coordinate and compute All.
5.4.1 Traverse
Need to check on the connectivity and misclosure.
1. If come out error said that: Coordinate for Start Station are 0,0 In Connectivity 2,
a. Means that that particular traverse list 2 (example) is not start from a known point or not link with
previous traverse list.
b. We have to check the traverse list 2 and edit in Define > Traverse.

b. Please be reminded that in the Traverse defination just only can go through direct Measured line but
not Compute Line.
5.4.2 Direct Line
If the direct line shown is not the same with what you want (compare with adjusted precomp), then may need to
change the route to compute the direct line in Computation > Define > Direct Line.
________________________________________________________________________________________________ 55
5.4.3 Mean Line
Mean line will be form and computed if only you got define Block.
5.4.4 Coordinate
If come out this error message, means you got some points that cannot compute for the coordinate. You must
check back on the Define > Coordinate there, must make sure that you got fix at least 1 PO point and 1 New
point.
5.4.5 Lot
After Compute, if got failed, please check on the related direct line or mean line first.
5.4.6 Connection Line
Check the connection bearing distance.
5.4.7 SKL Lot
This is to compute the Area Comparison between Precomp Area and Surveyed Area. You must either import the
PU ASCII Return or SKL ASCII (with real lot number) or key in the Precomp Area in Define > SKL Detail
Entry before compute.
