VISION 2014VISION 2014Return on Expectations

ITKAN will establish itself as the premier provider of technology leaders with disabilities. We will achieve this distinction through investing in the development and training of curricula in hot-hire areas of IT. We will create support for the curricula through a combination of business

sponsorships, grants, university partnerships, volunteers and IT KAN revenue generating events. Our goal is to drive toward self sustainability based on the efforts of our members. We want to become recognized as a ready resource of highly motivated , passionate,

experienced and flexible IT team leaders and IT team members prepared to effectively compete for projects in today’s marketplace.

StructureWe will be guided by dedicated leadership made up of a strong board, aligned partners, passionate volunteers, and driven members. We will

be committed to the partners that we work with and explore opportunities to expand our value to them. We will grow deep diversity awareness by utilizing social media cannels with a high level of accessibility , mentoring role model members to exceed customer

expectations and deliver complete diversity awareness programs. ITKAN processes will support our growth and foster accountability and excellence among our members.

ITKAN is guided by the fundamental belief that honesty, integrity and trust will yield success. Members work together to create the best experience possible for our clients, partners and supporters. Additionally, we support our members’ growth in business acumen,

leadership and collaboration. We hold one another accountable for our efforts, and expect successful results from consistent and best practice initiatives.

We are known for our detailed understanding of assistive technology and are well trained in the solutions that we provide. Our clients and partners see our members as professional, productive, accurate, loyal, dependable and creative. Each person is dedicated to the highest level of quality delivery and are known for their consistent and impactful approach. Our team members exceed expectation each and every

time. They pride themselves on leaving a memorable and lasting impression on all those that they work with.

Member Values

Respect for each individual and the value that they bring to ITKAN is paramount. Each member is expected to provide value to ITKAN and to the clients they serve. We have passion for ensuring that individuals are treated competitively and are seen as leaders. We believe in

supporting any member’s unique needs to the greatest extent we are capable and help to overcome gaps in education, training, knowledge, marketability in order to be most prepared to succeed in today’s IT industry.
