Iterlene IN/400-R1 GREEN ANTISTRIPPING AGENTS FOR HOT MIXES 1. APPLICATION ITERLENE IN/400-R1 GREEN is a very high efficiency liquid antistripping agent of new generation: it is free of aromatic oils hazardous to human health. ITERLENE IN/400 R1 GREEN: Guarantees a perfectly stable bond between bitumen and aggregates in any application condition (i.e. high moisture, low ambient temperatures, acid nature aggregates) Ensures the mechanical stability of the bituminous mix (manufactured with neat or modified bitumen). Reduces the thermal susceptibility of the mix to frost-defrost cycles Is chemically compatible with bitumen without modifying its physical and rheological characteristics (penetration, softening point, ring and ball). ITERLENE IN/400 R1 GREEN has the following advantages: Suitable for hot, humid climates. enhances the bond between bitumen and extremely acid lapideous aggregates (quartzite, porphyries, etc.). Converts the aggregates’ behaviour from hydrophilic to hydrophobic. Enhances the resistance of the bituminous mix subjected to frost- defrost cycles (as requested by technical specifications and AASHTO T283 standard) ITERLENE IN/400 R1 GREEN can be introduced either in line during the production process or directly in the binder’s tank. • Iterlene IN/400-R1 GREEN ANTISTRIPPING AGENTS FOR HOT MIXES

    1. APPLICATION ITERLENE IN/400-R1 GREEN is a very high efficiency liquid antistripping agent of new generation: it is free of aromatic oils hazardous to human health. ITERLENE IN/400 R1 GREEN:

Guarantees a perfectly stable bond between bitumen and aggregates in any application condition (i.e. high moisture, low ambient temperatures, acid nature aggregates)

Ensures the mechanical stability of the bituminous mix (manufactured with neat or modified bitumen).

Reduces the thermal susceptibility of the mix to frost-defrost cycles Is chemically compatible with bitumen without modifying its physical and

rheological characteristics (penetration, softening point, ring and ball).

ITERLENE IN/400 R1 GREEN has the following advantages: Suitable for hot, humid climates. enhances the bond between bitumen and extremely acid lapideous

aggregates (quartzite, porphyries, etc.). Converts the aggregates behaviour from hydrophilic to hydrophobic. Enhances the resistance of the bituminous mix subjected to frost-

defrost cycles (as requested by technical specifications and AASHTO T283 standard)

ITERLENE IN/400 R1 GREEN can be introduced either in line during the production process or directly in the binders tank.

The product is essential to prevent the following

    pavement deteriorations

    Surface potholes

    2. DOSAGE ITERLENE IN/400 R1 GREEN dosage varies from 0,20% a 0,40% by bitumen weight (neat or modified), depending on the lithological nature of the lapideous aggregate intended for the production of mixtures in bituminous mix, and on the operational conditions (temperatures, type of mix to be produced, etc.)
