The ITAL JAMMIN REGGAE is a musical event which aims to contribute artistically to the

development of environmental conciousness using the reggae

music and Jamaican ITAL associated culture. This Ital culture remains largely unknown to most

fan reggae lovers worldwild or environmentalists. Each artist

invited to participate in this ITAL REGGAE JAMMIN will use its musical performance to get the

audience sensitive to the health of mother earth and the life living

today. Thus, this musical event is not restricted only to fans of reggae or world music fans but it's opened

to all those who love music in general and to all those who will find in this event a great opportunity to support this original movement for

the respect for the planet

ITAL JAMMIN REGGAE is the event where music works for ecology and spread this message to the audience and chant for the respect and preservation of the planet..ITAL JAMMIN REGGAE presents many talented artists and musicians from all around the world nominated "blessed under the sign of the planet" by the Abana green magazine. All have already signed music with a strong positive message for the living together as one and the respect the planet.

ITAL JAMMIN REGGAE will be the occasion to create live shows organized by the magazine ABANA and which will take place between October 2010 and May 2011. Each of his tour aims to highlight the artists nominated by the magazine Abana. At each concert, a Jamaican artist and an artist from another side of the world are invited to create a show for the environmental awareness of their audience with a powerful message for tolerance and respect for others.

The word "Ital", a contraction in the Jamaican patwa word "natural" in English (more information page 9) will be the great line of this musical event that aim to celebrate life on earth and remind us that Man is part of Nature. Each concert will be an opportunity to learn more about the benefits of natural foods, discovering eco clothing, organic skin care products, craft products, coming from fair trade.

DERAJAH is also known as JAH YOUTH and represents a new wave of Jamaican reggae roots rock. Very talented, he owes his fame due to more than 30 recordings since the late 1990s and his performance on the stages of many European festivals. DERAJAH is distinguished by a haunting vocal range, from falsetto to that of the baritone, and his charismatic presence. Multi-talented, DERAJAH is singer, composer, percussionist, and producer. He is a member of the group INNA DE YARD ALL STARS, where we find Earl Chinna Smith, guitarist of the legendary Bob Marley, and I Kiddus, internationally known singer by the famous movie "Rockers." DERAJAH now preparing the release of his first album with a tour in France, "Paris is Burning" DERAJAH will perform with his group, based in France, "The Donkey Jaw Bone".

Drawing on his experience of life and the lives of others every day, DERAJAH lance through his music for a message of positivity.

His message to the world today is simple: "Stop cutting down the trees and not planting any. We should all take care of Mother Earth because it is precious and we need earth as much as earth needs us. "

DUBTONIC KRU is a band of five Jamaican musicians coming from different musical genres. The band was founded by JUBBA WHITE, vocals and drums, and by STONE, bass player. Today, the group is composed also with JALLANZO, guitar and vocals, Luke Dixon on keyboards and vocals, KAMAU, percussion and vocals.

The name "DUBTONIC KRU" given to the band means just what the two words coming together would mean, "DUB", relating to music and "TONIC", referring to medicine. With this name, DUBTONIC KRU remind us that since ancient times, music has always played a vital role, as a medicine, in the development through life and has always been around us, So music is a part of the foundation of life. Then it is not a surprise to discover that JUBBA WHITE and STONE are musicians who have helped shape the development of reggae as they played with the great pioneers of reggae : The Mighty Diamonds, Burning Spear, U-Roy. They also later played with the new greatest names of reggae on stage today : Junior Kelly, Bushman, Lutan Fyah, Jah Mason and Richie Spice. Today, through their albums, DUBTONIC KRU offer a new style of reggae and dub mixed with experimental sounds. Their last album, self-produced by the band, is simply titled "DUB TONIC" ...

ABAJONAI is a talented artist who brings in his music new feelings full of creativity.

ITAL VITALFOR THE RESPECT OF LIFE ON EARTH

Considering the controversy worldwild debate about the "why” and the “how” of environmental disaster (global warming, deforestation, desertification, col-lapse of biodiversity ,...), here is an expression taken from the Jamaican patwa, "ITAL VITAL”, which may provide a consistent education or reasonning for anyone who wants to open the eyes and see the world as it is and not as no one wishes to make it ... What does means "ITAL VITAL”? “ITAL” is a contraction from the Jamaican patwa of English "natural". Note that you can read here and there that the term "ITAL" also refers to the words "vital", “total or “global". The word "vital" literally refers to what is "essential" to life. Thanks to reggae music and its ambassadors, including reggae legend Bob Marley, that expression in the heart of culture "Rasta", may have spread at the four corner of the world. So the term "ITAL VITAL" is first a lifestyle that is associated to any "Rasta" from Jamaïca or all over the world, among those who recognize themselves spontaneously in this levity.

"ITAL VITAL" expresses a worldview based on global naturalistic perspectives. This aspiration to live in harmony with the laws of nature implies the development of a environmental conciousness adopting environmentally exemplary. responsible behavior. This worldview ITAL VITAL from Jamaican Rastas has long time remained in the shadow of reggae music and neglected compared to the stereotype "rasta as ganja smoker”. ITAL FOOD: Applied to food, this expression reflects the preference for food without chemical additives (preservatives, GMOs, etc. ...), without meat, fish and dairy free. SEYNI & YELIBA Everyone knows that the pace of REGGAE ONE DROP is the Nyabinghi and the SKA. But very few people know what is the ancestral African rhythms Nyabinghi. Therefore SEYNI & YELIBA defines his music as Reggae Yankadi to recall that in Guinea the mother of rhythm "Nyabinghi" called "Yankadi. The Yankadi Reggae & SEYNI YELIBA (YELIBA in mendingo language means "mighty griot") is very powerful and enchanting. We can feel the vibrations through REGGAE Yankadi and harmony and love, joy and also a perfume revolution . This mix of styles between Jamaican rhythms and African rhythms SEYNI YELIBA also allows to express the long and complex history of Africans now dispersed on one znd another sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
