Web 2.0 applications have made teaching easier. The teacher does not have to write things on the whiteboard as he/she can use the computer. This saves effort from the teacher.

Del.icio.us is a place online where you can share bookmarks.

Teachers can bookmark webpages which they feel is beneficial for students to read / learn.

After that, they can share their bookmarks with the students, which makes it easier for the students to find the links, rather then just printing them a stack of notes / links

Teachers can search on youtube for educational videos for students to watch.

Teachers can also record themselves teaching a certain subject to post on youtube if for some reason they have to be absent in the future.

share their slides, it also allows teachers to obtain slides related to the work being done.Slideshare.net has many slides available for sharing.

Howstuffworks.com This website contains information on how

things work. It shows specifically how a certain thing operates. For example, how a firearm (machine gun) is used.

Wikihow.com Wikihow.com contains articles which help

others by telling them how to do certain things.
