Scott Remington currently serves as vice chairof the Board of Directors for Autism Pensacolaand is an attorney and shareholder at ClarkPartington. His wife, Amie Remington, servesas general counsel for Landrum. The couple isvery involved in their church and giving back tothe community through various civic organiza-tions. They live in Pensacola with their threechildren.

Justin Beck serves as president of Beck Partnersand his wife, Kristin, also have 3 children.When asked why he and Kristin decided to jointhe Remingtons as hosts for the gala, Justinreplied: “Kristin and I believe that AutismPensacola serves an extremely important role inour community by supporting the children andfamilies affected by autism. The great work thisorganization does throughout the Pensacola area is vitally important to usbecause we've personally seen families and children in our communityliving with spectrum disorders, and we know that the entire community isimpacted by autism. We are honored to join Amie and Scott Remingtonas hosts for the 2016 Gala in hopes that it raises awareness and resourcesfor Autism Pensacola.”

Scott adds, “As an API Board member, I have learned so much about thechallenges and gifts of autism. Amie and I are excited to serve in thisrole to ensure Autism Pensacola has the resources to continue makingPensacola a place that understands, accepts, and supports those livingwith autism.”

Formed in 2002, Autism Pensacola, Inc., is a 501c3 organization dedicated toimproving the lives of those living with autism in Escambia and Santa Rosacounties.

We are working to accomplish this mission through awareness, education,and support for families in our area. We provide a variety of activities through-out the year for families and community members to enjoy.

API is best known for Kids for Camp summer learning lab which has trainedmore than 265 area professionals and served more than 250 unique individualswith autism ages 2-25 over the past 13 years.

Susan Byram moved to the Pensacola area in June of

2001 with her husband, Mike, an engineer at Eastman

Chemicals and their two sons, David and Phillip. The

Georgia native has a Master’s degree in education and

taught 3rd grade before becoming a mom. Since David

was diagnosed with autism in 1994, she has dedicated

herself to learning about autism to help David and others like him. She has

co-founded two chapters of the Autism Society of America. She is a member

and elder at First Presbyterian Church, Pensacola.

� Parents paid $79,407 in tuition

� 81 campers received at least a 40% discount to camp. Two werefrom out of our two-county area and paid full cost, plus a sur-charge.

� 41 families received additional discounts based on income.

� 70% of all campers mastered at least 50% of their targets over the20 days of camp. Almost 90% made some gains-mastering at leastone target.

� over 95% of camp parents stated they were satisfied with camp,based on survey data.

� over 85% of camp staff said they were likely to use what theylearned at camp in their classrooms

• Trained over 265 teachers in the principle of Applied Behavior Analysiswhile serving over 250 unique individuals with autism

• Of the teachers have worked at Kids for Camp 11% have attended for atleast 3 years, and 31% of campers have participated at least 3 years.
