Ceramic injection molding creates a perfect symbiosis

between the injection molding technology and its nu-

merous design options and the high performance

ceramic material and its convincing material properties.

The ceramic injection molding process opens up

unimagined degrees of freedom in the development

and design of future-oriented product solutions. This

allows cost-effi cient manufacturing of small to me-

dium-sized, complex, highly stress-resistant com-

ponents in a single molding step. Compared with

conventional manufacturing processes, this allows

elaborate mechanical processing procedures to be

dispensed with. Parts design options, known from

plastics processing, can also be applied to ceramic

parts by applying injection molding technology.

The exceptional material properties of ceramic, paired

with the design fl exibility and productivity of the injec-

tion molding process, make the Ceramic-Injection-

Molding (CIM) process an exciting proposition for

the development of specifi c compounds from selected
