Problem: Endeavour Energy needed to improve collaboration and expertise location across organisation. Wanted to create a Centralised Corporate Directory and enable users to leverage Web 2.0 capabilities.
Solution: ISW Implemented IBM Connections – Social Software For Business to provide Profiles, Communities, Blogs, Wiki’s, Activities, Shared Bookmarks, Files, Forums, Search, Tagging which enabled improved collaboration, expertise location, Web 2.0 style knowledge management. This was all integrated into their Intranet/Portal using IBM WebSphere Portal.
We also used Tivoli Directory Integrator to source data from Integral’s HR/Oracle/Security Photo’s to create centralised, up to date, Corporate Profiles Directory within IBM Connections.

Problem:Cripps, one of Australia’s longest running and largest privately owned production bakeries, needed to improve reporting and modelling capabilities with an emphasis on reducing wastage and optimising production cycles through shortening the time to analyse information from their industry specific ERP.
SolutionCripps implemented the Cognos Express solution to take advantage of it’s proven integration with their ERP and the integration of the modelling and reporting capabilities.
Benefits• automation of manual reporting process which now delivers answers in minutes not weeks• provision of a unified view of different reporting dimensions allowing discovery of trends and relationships that were previously hidden• self service reporting capabilities via the adhoc query capabilities• implementation of a flexible planning and forecasting solution • provision of what-if capabilities.

Problem: Centennial Coal needed to provide secure access to corporate governance systems and method of distributing board level meeting agenda’s, papers, minutes, and executive reports to a Board of Directors that travel and often meet remotely.
Solution: ISW implemented IBM WebSphere Portal, Domino Xpages, and Sametime to provide a secure and user friendly web based portal through which the company directors and their personal assistants could gain access to the resources they required in a secure manner.
Benefit: Sametime provided real time messaging and awareness capabilities as well as web conferencing. Domino Xpages provided a rich Web 2.0 development environment for the applications in the portal.

Problem: Zurich Insurance Australia needed to provide their mobile sales team across the country with secure and remote access to their CRM software.
Solution: ISW designed and developed an IBM Xpages mobile application, designed for tablets and smartphones with customer profile management and target list selection capability. The app developed by ISW was delivered via IBM Connections in a cross-browser and operating system environment for access by Zurich’s sales team, regardless of preference of mobile device used by each Salesperson.
