Drawing; Why we need?
Cave drawing at Lascaux near Montignac in 1941.
Ancient Egypt Tombs pharaohs Pictures Great Pyramids and Sphinx
Human need to tell what they see or think. Then drawing is essential.

Technical Drawing
Da Vinci was a great technical fellow. His artworks are good examples for technical drawings.

Engineering Drawing is a serious work
<In your Engineering life, you will “do” your own drawings or “review” others’.
Therefore, please pay attention to the class for being succesful in your engineering life on site or at the office.

Computer Aided Design (CAD)
There are numerous CAD programs. We will use AutoCAD that is the
most popular editor among the engineers and architects.

AutoCAD
1. AutoCAD is a software application for computer-aided design (CAD)
and drafting in both 2D and 3D.
2. It provides a complete drawing environment.
3. There are various advantages in drafting and editing.
4. Possible to share and collaborate with others via web.
5. Became a common point between engineers and architects.
6. Extremely necessary for engineers in developing the site drawings.
7. Extendable to other engineering programs.
8. There is no alternative way for the close future.
