FOX COMMUNITY CENTER

This week the center received new games. Staff put them up and soon captured two of our bridge players having fun playing the life size Connect 4 game. They had a great time playing on a bigger board then what they were used to playing.

FRANK CHESTER SENIOR CENTER

The seniors enjoyed a variety of activities this week. Our Red Hat group, “The Southern Peach Blossoms”, enjoyed lunch and Bingo with our other seniors. We had their favorite meal of Loaded Baked Potatoes and Salad. The fellowship was awesome and everyone enjoyed the Bingo afterwards.

Our Busy Bee Club members meet this week to continue their ongoing project of making walker and wheelchair bags. We’d also like to welcome our newest member Victor Jackson. Victor made his first wheelchair bag with help form the other members. Once this project is complete, we will be distributing them to area nursing homes.

The Frank Chester seniors also celebrated National Donut Day. Staff surprised the seniors with donuts as they came through the door that morning. It didn’t take long for word to spread that donuts were hiding in Joy’s office. There was one catch though; they had to let a staff person snap some photos for our Friday letter and bulletin board. Needless to say, no one turned us down!
