I can highly recommend this program as the Vic.
University Preservice teachers put a lot of plan-
ning and preparation into making this a fun and
valuable playgroup experience.
Roadworks update
The road works in Maxwell Street supervisor has
informed us that the front driveway of the school
and the school crossing will most likely be broken
up on Monday next week.
This means that the staff and all cars will not have
access to the staff car park on Monday.
In consideration of the lack of parking and
entrance at the front of the school we are leaving
the back gate unlocked during the day. This means
that parents can park in East Court or around the
back of the school and enter via the lane way back
gate access at all times until further notice.
Easter Raffle
Our Easter Raffle tickets are coming home today.
We are still looking for contributions of
Easter eggs or small gifts towards our
Easter baskets.
Raffle will be drawn on
Thursday 26th March.

National Day of Action against Bullying
Lalor Primary School is holding whole school
activities next Friday March 20th from 9 – 10.45 am to
emphasise our support for this important day. Parents
are invited to attend during these sessions to show
their support for this action as well as join us for a
picnic morning tea on the oval if weather permits at
10.45 am. Keep a lookout for our article in the
Whittlesea Leader Newspaper about this event.
Thank you to Lana Richardson who has keenly
organised these events for the last two years.
If your child talks to you about bullying:
1. Listen calmly to get the full story. Try to find out
if this is a one off problem or an ongoing
issue.
2. Reassure your child that they are not to blame.
3. Ask your child what they want to do about it
and how you can help.
4. Check whether your child has told their
teacher and asked for help.
5. Visit www.bullyingno way.gov.au to find some
strategies.
6. Contact the school and speak to the classroom
teacher, Mrs Parrish or Ms Ryan are also glad to
help.
7. Check in regularly with your child.
