Automation should be implemented not only as an improvement tool, but
also as a culture. Gone are the days when focus area of automation was restricted to large manufacturing industries. Now automation is gaining importance even in the medium and small scale industries.

There will be tremendous scope for Engineering, Procurement and
Construction (EPC) sector. EPC industry will play a big role in enabling the sustainable growth of process industry. Indian EPC sector has tremendous capabilities, but there is lot of scope for improvement, particularly in terms of timely project execution and optimisation of communication software and processes.
