Not able to guess turn to page no.3
Sir, our quoted rates are not profitable,
but the contract specifications are so airy-

It's a hard disk drive back in 1956... with 5 MB of storage. In September 1956 IBM launched the 305 RAMAC, the first
'SUPER' computer with a hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD weighed over a ton and stored a 'whopping' 5 MB of data.
If you learned computer programming in the 1970's, you dealt with what today are called mainframe computers, such as the
IBM 7090 (shown above), IBM 360, or IBM 370.
Computer Humor
In Computer Heaven:
The management is from Intel,
The design and construction is done
by Apple,
The marketing is done by Microsoft,
IBM provides the support,
Gateway determines the pricing.
In Computer Hell: The management is from Apple, Microsoft does design and construction, IBM handles the marketing, The support is from Gateway, Intel sets the price.
A guy is standing on the corner of the
street smoking one cigarette after another.
A lay walking by notices him and says
Hey, dont you know that those things
can kill you? I mean, didnt you see the
giant warning on the box?!
Thats OK says the guy, puffing casually
Im a computer programmer
So? Whats that got to do with anything?
We dont care about warnings. We only
care about errors.
