OBJECTIVES
1. A better understanding of “how” to effectively minister to women based on “how” we think
2. An awareness of the differences of how men think & how women think, so that you can use these differences to your advantage
3. A personal ministry moment where God deposits something in your spirit that provides you with personal insight, releases you, or speaks directly to your struggle
DIFFERENCES INPROBLEM SOLVING
• Men are more procedural oriented (action focused)
• Women are more process oriented (engagement focused)
DIFFERENCES INCOMMUNICATION
• Men are relative / relevant(importance of issues are all relative & how you feel is only relevant to that moment)
• Women tend to be relationship / re-experiencing
DIFFERENCES IN GETTING THINGS DONE
• Men consider “how” to (efficiency focused)
• Women consider “why” to (efficacy focused)

DIFFERENCES IN REASONING
• Men “think” (logical reasoning)
• Women “feel or sense” (emotional reasoning)
DIFFERENCES INCOGNITIVE PROCESSING
• Men are linear thinkers
• Women tend to be circular thinkers
DIFFERENCE IN INFORMATION ORGANIZATION
• Men are “acyclic” and compartmentalize
• Women tend to be cyclic and global
DIFFERENCES INSTORING & RETRIEVING INFO
• Men “see” multi-dimensionally (3D conceptualization)
• Women “do” multi-dimensionally (multi-tasking)
THINKING OF DIFFERENCES AS DEFICITS
• Distract
• Distort our vision
• Distance us from one another
• Disconnect us from God
