Q-Eye the complete, state of the art system to portable flowmonitoring. The system has been designed for reliableoperation in harsh filed conditions present in sanitary sewers.Field serviceable, solide-state electronics are isolated in aseparate, waterproof compartment inside Q-Eye´s stainlesssteel housing.Q-Eye uses standard alkaline batteries whichare easily replaced without exposing the electronics.

A solid-state, direct immersion pressure transducer sensesflow depth over the full range pipe capacity, from surchargedconditions to completely dry. A redundant submergedultrasonic level sensor is combined in the velocity sensor.

Q-Vision is a software system thatintegrates setting up and automatedcollection, reporting, viewing andanalysis of data from sanitary sewers,combined sewer overflows, stormsewers, rainfall gauges, water qualitysamplers , and pump stat ions.

Q-Vision is an easy-to-use programdesigned to operate under a variety ofhardware and software configurations.The software package operates as acomplete data acquisition and analysissystem in the stand alone mode, or asa work stat ion in a networkenvironment. The software operateson an IBM-PC or compatible and alsoon a hand-held Personal DigitalAssistant (PDA).

? Analysis module for graphicaland numerical representation andevaluation/analysis.

? Representation of up to 3individual plots with additionalgraphical super-positioning.

Flow CalculationsThe software incorporates several flow equations includingPrandtl Colebrook, Continuity, and custom cross-sections(for non-standard pipe sizes, irregular channel sizes), andsilt levels.

Scatter graphsOn-screen graphics allows the user to determine the accuracyof the depth and velocity data and perform complete QA/QC n the flow data and determine anomalous conditions.

Sewer Flow AnalysisComposite and comparative graphs and tables allow the user todetermine trends, analyze net flows for I/I analysis, billingnetworks, pipe capacities and mass balancing.

Flow and sensor data can be reported in graphic and tabularform, either on-screen or hard copy, with a wide selection ofprinter capabilities. Reports can be prepared as standard tabularand graphic reports and outputs include daily, weekly, monthlyor yearly reports and statistical functions for min., max., meanand totals including standard deviations and regression analysis.Data can also be output in ASCII and cvs format.
