Where they live:• Channel Islands off southern Carolina

What they eat:• Fruit

• Lizards

• Mice

• Small birds

• Snails

How they produce:

• 50-63 days carrying pups

• can have up to 1-5 pups

Threat for the animal:

• Decline of island fox's

• Killed by gold eagles

• Extinction

What is being done to help:

• There is a fox recovery program called defenders of wildlife

Unique facts:• Size of a house hold human cat

• Life span 4-6 yrs. possibility of. Living up to 15 yrs.

• You can only find them in southern Carolina
